Daniel Lawse, founder of Omaha's first sustainability consulting firm, joins MCC Nov. 7 for a lecture challenging individuals to make daily choices to help communities thrive. Lawse, chief century thinker at Verdis Group, argues that efficient use of energy and resources is not enough to make communities thrive. Rather, home, family, work and community thrive when individual choices reflect the triple bottom line of people, planet and prosperity.
The talk is part of a new partnership between Metropolitan Community College and Central Community College to bring local and national sustainability experts to campus and the community.
