The Main Squeeze Brings Raging Funk Experience to Omaha
WHO: The Main Squeeze is a raging funk experience born in late 2009 from the thriving live music scene of Indiana University who boasts a unique sound and identity, known to create a live experience that audience members routinely describe as unparalleled. Since its birth, the talented quintet has graced the stages of music festivals nationwide, won an international battle of the bands competition in China, was handpicked by Rolling Stone magazine to be the opening act at the official SuperBowl XLVI tailgate party in Indianapolis, released their debut album in 2012, and just completed tracking their sophomore effort with producer and international celebrity Randy Jackson.
WHAT: Chicago-based funk band The Main Squeeze is making their debut in Omaha as part of their spring 2014 tour. The Squeeze will leave Omaha music fans funkified and freshly squozen after a night of seamlessly blending funk, rock, electro, and jazz with intricate jams, tight grooves, and ripping solos. Joining the talented quintet is melding progressive rock band Papadosio, who will open the show.
