Nature Connects
Hosted by Lauritzen Gardens
Saturday, February 2, 2013 - 9:00am - Sunday, May 19, 2013 - 5:00pm
See 27 sculptures made from LEGO® bricks in fourteen individual displays as you tour the garden. Learn how nature is interconnected just like the 500,000 LEGO® bricks that were used to build these amazing larger than life sculptures. Incorporated into the spring flower show, these garden-inspired sculptures will be on exhibit from February 2 through May 19, 2013.
Ranging in size from six inches to nearly eight feet, a variety of creatures are represented in the exhibit, including a tiger swallowtail butterfly, a green darner dragonfly, a hummingbird, even a gardener. The largest sculpture is a mother bison made from 45,143 bricks.
