Brownell-Talbot School Celebrates 150 Years with Founder's Fun Fair Sept. 21
Brownell-Talbot School celebrates its 150th year of serving the Omaha Community in September.
The school, which opened on Sept. 17, 1863, will host a Founder's Fun Fair on Saturday, Sept. 21, 2013, on campus at 400 N. Happy Hollow Blvd., in Omaha in celebration of its history.
Events include breakfast with the Pancake man from 9 a.m.-12 p.m., a Family Fun Run/Walk at 10 a.m. and our Founder's Fun Fair from 12-3 p.m.
The Founders Fun Fair will feature: 1860s living history including blacksmiths, loomers, woodcarvers, mountain men, crafts and games; live performances by The Many Moccasins Dance Troupe, Escape from AlcaJazz, a B-T Blues Band, and others; the Mutual of Omaha Wild Animal Encounters. Lunch will be available for purchase.
