Nothing gives me a rush quite like the holiday season. For me, it is the culmination of a year of product testing and ventures around the city and the World Wide Web to discover new cravings and must have items for gift shopping. I couldn’t possibly keep all of this knowledge to myself, so here I bring it to you in my holiday gift guide.

This guide is stuffed full of all sorts of goodies for everyone in your life. These picks are some of my personal favorite things, but I assure you they are sure to satisfy anyone and everyone on your gift list. A Woman’s Best Friend

To kick off my holiday gift guide I wanted to start with a whopper of an item. So, I am introducing you to the Kate by MZ Wallace. Named Travel + Leisure’s 2010 best travel accessory, this multipurpose bag is well on its way to becoming a classic. With its perfect-for-anything size, simple and sophisticated appeal, and lightweight and durable design (made of water resistant Teflon coated nylon), it really is the only bag you will need. Also on my wish list is the Hamish pouch also from MZ Wallace. This platinum leather lovely is great as a chic way to keep your purse in order, wrangle all of your makeup together, and even makes a charming evening clutch. Bright orange lining on the inside and the attached tassel add to the pouch’s fun irresistibility and make it an unexpected but welcomed stocking stuffer! And who wouldn’t want to unwrap a little platinum this holiday season?

A Signature Piece

Many gift givers are often too afraid of imposing upon another’s taste to even attempt buying them fragrance, but with a fragrance like Marc Jacobs BANG (for men), you’ll know just who to give it to.  This bold fragrance packs a subtle and pleasant punch without being overpowering. Described as “elegant and sensual” and “full of energy” by marcjacobsbang.com, this scent is definitely not for the wallflower. The fragrance, featuring a trio of peppercorns along with white moss, wood elements and patchouli, is for that man in your life who is fearless and likes to stand out. BANG is manly and natural enough for the rugged type yet clean and bold enough for the modern man.  This is one of my favorite scents I have experienced to date. The artful bottle alone is reason enough to gift! The cleverly crafted combination of unique aromatic notes make BANG a signature fragrance that will leave no one guessing who just entered the room and will keep everyone asking about the man that did.

All-time Favorite Sweet Treat

Ice cream may not be the first gift idea that comes to mind for the winter holidays, but it is certainly one worth considering! We Omahans are lucky enough to have the amazing locally owned and nationally known eCreamery right in our own backyard. Located in Dundee, the colorful ice cream shop features creative and delicious flavors of ice cream, gelato and sorbet like chocolate spice, caramel apple pie, blood orange, and cabernet. You can even create your own custom flavors. With super fresh ingredients and exciting daily featured flavors, any recipient on your list will scream for this gift. You can pick up gift packages of their ice cream or even have it shipped, both locally and out of state. They also have the option of customizing pints with personal messages. A sweet gift to suit any taste bud, you’ll be hard-pressed to find anyone too picky to appreciate this gift.
